Flower delivery in Pardubice from a local florist

Pardubice is the regional capital of the Pardubice Region. The city lies at the confluence of the Elbe and the Chrudimka. It is about 100 kilometres east of Prague and 20 kilometres south of Hradec Králové.

The first surviving record of Pardubice dates from 1295, when Pope Boniface VIII confirmed the local Cyriac monastery and the Church of St Bartholomew. Green Gate, a tower with a viewing gallery beside Pernštýnské Square, was built after 1507 as part of the town fortifications. Pardubice Chateau, formerly a 13th-century water castle, was converted into a Renaissance palace by William II of Pernstein after 1491; it now houses the East Bohemian Museum. Josef Gočár's Automatic Mills, built in 1909–1910, are a National Cultural Monument and serve as a cultural and community centre following restoration; the racecourse on Pražská Street has operated since 1856 and hosts Velká pardubická.

Lída is based in Lázně Bohdaneč and delivers flowers from there to Pardubice.

Recipients can receive flowers at home or at work, at Pardubice Hospital or its maternity unit, in care homes, at public offices, at the University of Pardubice or at the East Bohemian Theatre.
